Biography
American writer, poet, editor, and publisher of many books for children, including about 70 picture book texts. Zolotow's work was published by more than 20 different houses.
The writers she edited include Paul Fleischman, Paul Zindel, Mary Rodgers, Robert Lipsyte, and Francesca Lia Block.
She died on 19 November 2013, aged 98, in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York.
