Biography
French physiologist, one of the first in France, he demonstrated the existence of enterohepatic bile acids and his work on the humoral mechanism of pancreatic secretion was fundamental to the discovery of secretin. He published articles on anatomy and embryology. He died in Sedan on 6 November 1924, aged 72.
