Biography
American merchandising marketeer and CEO of Golden Valley Microwave, a manufacturer of microwavable popcorn and frozen potato products. The popcorn business was declining due to high competition and a joint venture with ConAgra hiked earnings with sales of frozen potato products to restaurants and retailers. Watkins is a graduate of the Univ. of Minnesota with a BA in Economics and Fine Arts. For his leisure time away from the office, he enjoys sailing on the St. Croix River.
