Biography
American thespian, musician, and writer of works of fiction and non-fiction.
Walton's first novel Inside Moves inspired an eponymous motion picture in 1980. The film, with a screenplay by Barry Levinson, was directed by Richard Donner and starred John Savage, David Morse, and Diana Scarwid, who received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Louise. Walton's second novel, Forgotten Impulses (1980) was chosen by The New York Times as one of the best novels of that year. His other fiction works include Louie & Women (1983), Night Train (1986), Ruby & Spear (1996) and Water and Melons (1999) and Buddha In A Teacup: tales of enlightenment (2008).
