Biography
Norwegian physician and pioneer of child psychology and child psychiatry. She was also active in the Norwegian resistance during World War II, and was named as one of the Righteous among the Nations by Yad Vashem.
Waal died from heart failure on 28 May 1960 in Oslo, Norway. She was 55.
