Biography
French film actor and film director of the Silent era. As an actor, he created the role of the popular detective Nick Winter, whose name was inspired by his own pseudonym. This series produced by the film company Pathé and directed by Paul Garbagni had great success before the First World War. Vinter died on 19 July 1945, aged 66, in Saint-Mandé.
