Biography
French surgeon and obstetrician who worked all of his career in Lille: as head of the obstetric clinic since 1902 and associate professor of surgery from 1919 at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Lille.
He was also president of the world association of Esperanto doctors (today world association of medicine in Esperanto).
Dr Vanverts was also known in Lille as a virtuoso pianist (and violinist).
He died in Lille on 10 May 1954, aged 83.
