Biography
Belgian opera singer who studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels where she won the first prize for singing and declamation, making her debut at the Opéra-Comique in Paris.
In 1904, she created the role of Caroline in Paul Ferrier's adaption of la Chauve-souris. At the Théâtre Sarah Bernhardt, she played the role of Maddalena in Rigoletto alongside Enrico Caruso and Lina Cavalieri.
She was the sister of the painters Louis and Pierre Thevenet.
She died in 1956.
