Biography
French doctor and surgeon, who taught at the Hôpital de la Pitié. He was one of the first surgeons to use the modern aseptic operating room.
He was a Member of the Academy of Medicine, elected a member of the Section of Surgical Pathology on 13 May 1890.
He died on 8 April 1908, aged 70.
