Biography
American Football center in the National Football League (NFL) who played six seasons with the Chicago Bears (1954-1959), a one-time Pro Bowler and one-time first-team All-Pro.
Strickland was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 13th round (150th overall) of the 1953 NFL Draft.
He died on 29 August 1979, aged 47, in Tyler, Texas. He was survived by his wife Betty Strickland, and he had no children.
