Biography
Norwegian theologian, minister, dr. theol., and secretary-general of Sjømannskirken (the Norwegian Church Abroad) from 1955. He was bishop of the Diocese of Agder 1957-1973, and of the Diocese of Oslo 1973-1977. His father was bishop Bernt Støylen.
Støylen died on 22 August 1989 in Bergen, Norway, aged 79.
