French actress and music-hall artist crowned Miss Riviera 1931 and Miss France 1932. Lyne de Souza was the second cousin of the composer Gabriel Fauré. On 26 April 1933 in Paris she married Dr. Gaston Simounet, deputy mayor of Bergerac.
