Biography
French physician who succeeded his father, Jean-Baptiste Simonin II (1784-1871), as the director of the Surgical Clinic of Nancy. In 1872, when the Faculty of Strasbourg was transferred to Nancy, as director of the School he overtook the function of Professor of the surgical clinic and continued in this position until 1879. He died in 1884.
