Biography
American noted family member, the first child of San Francisco assemblywoman Jackie Speier and her husband, physician Steven Sierra. Speier was 37 at the time of the birth and is believed to be the first legislator in state history to give birth while in office. Speier is a former San Mateo County Supervisor, elected to the Assembly in 1986.
