Biography
German chemist and water supply specialist, who promoted fishing to prevent water pollution. His books include Beurteilung der Wasserverschmutzung mittels des Filterblätterverfahrens (Assessment of water pollution by means of the filter sheet method, 1932) and Die Gewerblichen und Industriellen Abwässer (Commercial and industrial wastewater, 1959). He died on 11 July 1972, aged 85, in Paderborn.
