French wife of Guillaume Seznec, a man falsely accused and convicted of the 1923 murder of Pierre Quéméner.
They were married on 18 July 1906.
Throughout his trial and during the remaining years of his life, Guillaume Seznec never ceased to proclaim his innocence. Marie-Jeanne and his descendants, including their daughter and grandson Denis Seznec, regularly asked the court to reopen the case in order to whitewash the charges against him and obtain his rehabilitation.
On 6 April 1926, Marie-Jeanne filed the first petition for review of the case which was eventually reopened, leading to the pardon of her husband.
