Biography
German boy who suffered a rare bacterial infection as a 15 month old baby, the Waterhouse-Friderichsen syndrome, which was incorrectly diagnosed at the hospital. During the first 14 years of his life he underwent more than 70 chirurgical operations. He has lost one leg and is physically handicapped. His parents lost several court cases and have tried to find financial support for further legal procedures via the media. The case attracted considerable media coverage.
