Biography
French medical educator who worked as chef de clinique at the Faculty of Medicine of Paris (1945-1947), Professor of paediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine of Kabul, Afghanistan (1947-1950), Professor of the Faculty of Medicine, Dakar, Senegal (1951-1961), Director of the National School of Public Health, Rennes, France (1961-1966), Professor and lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine (1966-1985), and director of the institute of maternal and child health (1970-1994). He died on 4 January 2012, aged 95.
