Biography
Chinese politician, elected as the first President of the Republican Government of China in 1911 and founder of the Kuomintang Dynasty. A Western-trained physician, he and his followers overthrew the Ch'ing Dynasty on 10/10/1911. Elected as the Provisional President, he took office on the Chinese New Year, 2/18/1912. He is the author of "Three Principles of the People," in which he outlined his political philosophy.
Sun Yat Sen died after a long illness 3/12/1925(cancer).
