Biography
American football halfback who played in the National Football League (NFL) with the Chicago Bears (1938–1939, 1946). He attended La Grange High School in La Grange, Illinois. He was also a member of the Chicago Gunners (1936) and Montreal Alouettes (1947).
Schweidler served in the United States Army during World War II and played football for the Camp Cooke football team in California.
He died on 18 March 2010, aged 95, in La Jolla, California.
