Biography
German internist and university teacher who founded the Medizinischen Fakultätentag (Medical Faculty Day) in 1913.
He died on 11 November 1918 in Halle, Saale, aged 53. The Adolf Schmidt Medal of the German Medical Faculty Day is named after him.
