Biography
French engineer (ingénieur du corps des manufactures de l'État) who graduated from the École Polytechnique, succeededing his father as director of the School of Application of Manufactures of Tobacco (in 1899). He was appointed as the Chair of Agricultural Chemistry and Chemical Analysis at the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts in 1919. He died on 9 July 1930, aged 74, in Paris.
