Italian mineralogist after whom Sborgite is named. Sborgi was Professor of Chemistry at the University of Milan, Italy.
Sborgite is a colourless sodium borate mineral with monoclinic crystals. It occurs in Tuscany, Italy and the Furnace Creek district, Death Valley, California, USA.
