Biography
French bullfighter fascinated by the sport from the time she was 16; she became a rojeneador, or torero on horseback. She was named Tauromachie Queen on 5/30/1995 in a televised ceremony.
The daughter of avant-garde stage director Antoine Bourseiller and actress Chantal Darget, she was brought up by Magdeleine, her anarchist grandmother. With the help of impresario Simon Casas who later became her husband, (no marriage or divorce dates found), she participated in her first bullfight in August 1984 and made her debut at the arenas of Nimes, France in 1988, the same year her mother died.
In 1990 she gave exhibitions in Portugal and Venezuela and in 1991 created "Marie Sara," a line of sportswear. On 1/20/1995 she married Henri LeConte in Saintes Marie de la Mer, France. She published "La Vie Pour de Vrai" in 1997 and retired from the ring in September 1999. After her divorce, she remarried Christophe Lambert, advertising executive.
