Biography
German writer. She was one of the most successful and most widely read German youth book authors in the early 20th century. Her famous novel The Pfäffling family alone , published in 1907, was sold (until new edition 2002) about 900,000 copies, total circulation was around 1980 to two million estimated.
She died 19 March 1929.
