Biography
German mineralogist and university lecturer whose research spanned crystallography, mineralogy, geology, mineralization, and geochemistry. He was inducted in 1940 as a corresponding member of the Göttingen Academy of Sciences. He died in Hamburg on 24 March 1976, aged 92.
