Biography
American music teacher, a pianist, accompanist and teacher in both the school system and with private tutoring. She married George Jobe and they had four kids, Carla on 4/07/1953, Donna on 8/17/1954, Lisa on 1/21/1962 and Gary on 5/25/1963: divorced in the mid-'70s.
With all four children instrumental musicians, she met George Rodden when he was conducting the Meremblum Pioneer orchestra for teen-agers. They married on 11/21/1977 and made a hospitable home for Rodden's five kids from his prior marriage.
On 7/18/1994 she had a mild stroke. Her mother (born 12/27/1902) began to move into Alzheimer's in 1979.
Her husband, George, fell and fractured his head on 6/21/2001; he died six days later, 6/27/2001, 1:55 PM, Eureka, CA.
Ann went on a holiday tour in early 2003. On 2/17 she retired early to her hotel, not feeling well. When her tour room-mate checked on her an hour later she was dead in the bathtub of a heart attack, Egypt.
