Biography
Belgian pharmacist (1886), doctor of natural sciences, lecturer (1890), extraordinary professor (1896) and regular professor at the University of Louvain in 1900 (pharmaceutical chemistry, practical pharmacy and pharmacognosy). He was the founder and chief editor of the Annales de Pharmacie and president of the General Pharmaceutical Society of Belgium. He died in 1925, aged 58.
