Biography
French television quiz gamer, nicknamed "le professeur", born in an Algerian "pied-noir" family of Spanish origins, he has appeared on several TV game shows and won nearly 1 million euros (809,392 to be exact, plus 7 cars!) in "Les 12 Coups de Midi" on TF1 private channel in 2016 (4 July 2016 to 14 January 2017). With 194 daily appearances (he won 193 times), he became the master of the masters, succeeding Bruno Tuchszer.
He specialized in chess and scrabble, playing at a high level. In 1987, he won the final of "Des Chiffres et des Lettres" (the Countdown) in Monte-Carlo, broadcast by France 3.
Married in 2008 (with 2 sons), he divorced in 2012 and lost his job. Since March 2019, he was held on remand in jail (accused of sexual exhibition, internet). His trial began in 2020, and on 8 April 2020, Quesada was judged behind closed doors (due to the covid-19 pandemic lockdown) and sentenced to 3 years in jail.
