Biography
French publisher, who worked for Presses Universitaires de France (PUF) as Executive Assistant (1974-1985), Editorial Director (1985-1994) and Chairman of the Board (1994-2011).
His books include "le Héros et l'Etat dans la tragédie de Pierre Corneille" (1986) and "Histoire de la France littéraire" (ed., 2006).
He died in Paris on 19 May 2011.
