Biography
French surgeon, anatomist, professor of anatomy at the Faculty of medicine of Paris in 1902, and a member of the jury of the Free Faculty of Beirut, Lebanon, in 1899. Paul Poirier was a surgeon of hospitals from 1889, at the hospital of Ivry, then hospital Tenon, then Lariboisière in 1904. Between 1892 and 1902, he published his great treatise on anatomy. He died on 1 May 1907 in Auteuil, aged 54.
