Biography
French physician from the noted Playoust family, who practised in Rennes from 1922 to 1942. For his war service he received the Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur, croix de guerre 1914-1918. He wrote the 1921 medical textbook, Le choc hémoclasique chez la femme enceinte normale et pathologique (Hemoclastic shock in normal and pathological pregnant women). He married Marie Louise Hugueny on 4 October 1921 in Neuilly sur Seine. He died on 17 September 1942, aged 51.
