Biography
French international artist, best known for her work with plastic surgery. She shares his lifetime between New-York, Los Angeles (member of the Getty Research Institute), and Paris where she sits as administrator for the "Palais de Tokyo". Also professor at the "Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts". In 2013, Orlan is asking recompense for what she sees as suspicious similarities between one of her sculptures,"Femme avec tête" (Woman with head), in 1996, and Lady Gaga's video "Born this way".
