On 28 July 1956 in Vallauris, he attacked, violated and strangled André Maubert, aged 10, then threw him into a clay pit.
Sentenced to death on 23 March 1957, he was executed by guillotine in Marseille on 7 December 1957 at 5:35 a.m.
