Biography
American executive, born in China, and CEO of Illinois Power, an industrial systems and engineering components manufacturing corporation. With interests in finance, accounting, production and manufacturing, Nichols has a BS and an MBA degree from Harvard. Noted as an aggressive acquirer, he puchased 19 companies in 1989 focusing on the domestic front and targeting for new growth. Even his leisure time is spent acquiring and collecting Impressionist art.
