Biography
Brazilian footballer who plays as a forward for FC Barcelona (since summer 2013) and the Brazilian national team, mainly as a forward.
Neymar became a father to a baby boy on 24 August 2011, at the age of 19. The baby, Davi Lucca, was born in São Paulo to Carolina Dantas. Neymar is not in a relationship with her. Neymar was quoted as saying "I cried when I learned that I would be his father. At first, I felt fear. Then joy. It is a new responsibility and I am now enjoying it." He later described the birth of his baby boy as "2.8 kilograms of pure happiness" and also said "Mother and baby are in good condition just after childbirth". Since 2013, he's dating the Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine.
During the 2014 World Cup, Neymar was seriously wounded at his back (fractured vertebra) as a result of the violent intervention of Columbian Zuniga. Neymar was fit again on 18 August 2014, when he played for hsi club Barcelona.
