Biography
Norwegian pharmacologist. He was professor of pharmacology at the University of Oslo 1966-1980 and conducted ground-breaking work within the development og Norwegian pharmacology and pharmacotherapy. In 1976 he was appointed Knight 1st Class in the Royal Order of St. Olav.
Næss died on 27 August 2000 in Oslo, Norway, aged 84.
