Biography
Mexican character actor of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, best-remembered for his versatility in playing different characters. He appeared in 184 films between 1937 and 1969. José Elías Moreno died on 15 July 1969, aged 58, in Mexico City. His son with the same name, born in 1956, is also a successful actor on television, film, and stage.
