Biography
Norwegian alpine skier and member of the 2019–2020 Norwegian Alpine Ski Team. McGrath moved to Oslo, Norway when he was two years old. His father, Felix McGrath, skied for the United States Ski Team on the World Cup circuit from 1984 through 1990, and his mother, Selma K. Lie, raced XC skiing in Norway.
McGrath competed at the 2018 and 2019 World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships. Both years, he raced all events (DH, SG, AC, GS and SL). In 2018 he was the best U18 skier in three of the events. His best result was the 2019 combined event where he won the silver medal.
