Biography
German nobility, called "Maximilian the Great." He was a Wittelsbach ruler of Bavaria and a prince-elector (Kurfürst) of the Holy Roman Empire.
His reign was marked by the Thirty Years' War (1618–1648).
He died on 27 September 1651 in Ingolstadt.
