Biography
A member of the Bavarian Royal House of Wittelsbach, General of Cavalry, doctor, artist and philanthropist. Following his marriage to his cousin Infanta Maria de la Paz of Spain On April 2, 1883, he also became Spanish infante. The wedding took place in Madrid, but in 1885 went to live in Bavaria, namely the Nymphenburg Palace. He was son of Adalbert of Bavaria and Amalia de Borbón.
