Biography
Belgian businessman, son of Auguste Lannoye, the founder of the Genval paper mills, he took over at the helm of the company from 1973 to 1980, when activities ceased. He was the founder of RIT, ancestor of SmithKline Beecham Biologicals (SB Bio), a pharmaceutical company that began by producing penicillin. He died on 24 February 1999 in Belgium at the age of 83.
