Biography
Norwegian professor of Russian literary history at the University of Oslo, from 1971, translator of Russian literature, and author of several biographies of classical Russian writers. In November 2007 he was made Commander of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav.
Kjetsaa died on 2 June 2008 in Hornnes, Norway, aged 71.
