Biography
French politician.
She was Minister of Sports in the third government of François Fillon from 14 November 2010 to 26 September 2011, before taking office as senator on 1 October 2011. She had previously been Minister for Ecology in the second French Government of François Fillon from 21 January 2009 to 14 November 2010.
She is a former karate champion, being a twelve-time French champion in her category.
