Biography
German ophthalmologist who introduced new surgical procedures into ophthalmology.
Jess joined the NSDAP (Nazi prty) on 1 September 1933, and belonged to the National Socialist League and the SS. In 1938 he was appointed chief stalwart.
He died on 23 October 1977 in Wiesbaden, aged 94.
