Biography
Norwegian singer and actress. In 1962 she was chosen to represent Norway in the seventh Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Kom sol, kom regn" ('Come Sun, Come Rain). There were 16 songs competing and Jacobsen finished in joint 10th place.
Jacobsen was known to be a private individual who avoided the world of celebrity and preferred to keep details of her personal life out of the public eye.
Jacobsen died of cancer on 21 July 1996, aged 72.
