To be closer to Zürich and Jung, Hull relocated to Switzerland, first to Feldbach (1951) and then to Ascona (1952). In 1961 Hull moved to Majorca, also because the weather was better for his health. His last meeting with Jung was on 5 March 1961.
In 1933 his first son, Tristram, was born. Hull married Joan Bowley in 1941. They had tree sons, Jeremy, and Mark and Nicholas (twins). Hull got married again, to Birthe-Lena Honum. They had two children, Ruth, and Dominic.
Hull died on 16 December 1974 in Ascot from coronary thrombosis, aged 61.
