Biography
Norwegian jurist and Supreme Court lawyer. He was one of the best known lawyers in Norway in the second half of the 20th century and pleaded over a thousand cases at the Supreme Court. In 1984 he was appointed Knight 1st Class of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav.
Hjort died on 19 October 2001 in Oslo, Norway, aged 79.
