Biography
Norwegian meteorologist. From 1949 to 1961 he was state meteorologist at the Oslo Airport, Fornebu. He was professor of meteorology at the University of Oslo from 1966.
Hesstvedt died on 28 April 1979 in Oslo, Norway, aged 58.
