Biography
American basketball player, playing forward and center with the Rockets and the Bullets. His team won the 1978 NBA Championship and numerous team and league records; they were the NBA 50th Anniversary Team. Determined and hard-practicing, Hayes was elected into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
